How to get rid of acne scarring effectively?

The severe forms of acne such as Nodulocystic acne might be left with deep scars in the skin, but the mild form of acne does not leave scars and heals naturally over time. There may be spots and pigmentation related with acne but that may not be exactly scars but it will look like in appearance. Filling agents are also been used to remove acne scars, which are temporary, like collagen. In the case of deep ice-pick scars, the useful treatment is replacement of affected skin by means of skin graft. For acne scarring another method of treatment, is laser with carbon dioxide, which removes skin very finely, layer by layer, and minimizing the damage to healthy tissue. Another method, called as peeling treatments, is also effective by means of removal of outermost layer of skin. There are different kinds of peels for different type of scarring, like superficial peels, medium-depth peels, and deep peels. It is very much suitable to treat the scars created by cystic acne and acne rosacea. This treatment is a long-term process, which needs a groundwork period of several weeks before the actual procedure.
