Useful home remedies for blackheads
Home remedies
are the most popular methods that are adopted by many people all
over the world for removing blackheads. When a home remedy is available
most of the people do not go for the conventional medications that
may have side effects. The home remedies are very cost effective
when compared to the other types of medications for treating blackheads.
One of the effective home remedy for treating blackheads is the
application of a paste of oatmeal and almond powder on the blackheads.
You have to mix oatmeal and almond powder with rose water and make
a paste that would be easy to apply to the skin. Then use this paste
to apply on the affected areas which have blackheads. You can easily
apply using your fingertips.
Once you apply
this paste, leave it for around 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you
can rinse your face with cold water. This method is very effective
in removing blackheads. Another
easier method is to use raw lemon juice without mixing it with anything
else. Apply this undiluted lemon juice over the blackheads for removal
of blackheads. One another method for removal of blackhead is to
create a solution with ½ tablespoon of boric powder and 1
½ cup of hot water. Take a facial napkin and saturate it
with this solution that you have prepared. Press this napkin to
the skin for sometime. Then use a blackhead remover to extract the
blackheads carefully.
Some people
use warm honey to apply on the spots of the blackheads. With this
method leave the spots with honey for ten to fifteen minutes and
then rinse them off with water. These are some of the home remedies
that are effective in removing blackheads. Apart from these you
can take foods that assist you in preventing blackhead from forming.
Foods like Red meat (beef and pork), processed foods (ready meals,
tinned meals etc), High fat foods (deep fried takeaways etc), Alcohol,
and chocolates should be avoided. Instead food items like Organic
chicken, organic fish, veggie mince, Stir fry with minimal oil,
Organic wine, clear alcohol (vodka, gin etc) and wines with fewer
preservatives, and 70% cocoa solids and cocoa fat chocolate can
be taken.
