Reflexology Feet - An Overview

Eunice Ingham, founder of the International Institute of Reflexology, has developed the foot Reflexology. Feet reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflexes on the feet relate to the organs, glands and parts of the whole body, The reflexes can be exited by a unique thumb and finger walking technique, by which we can improve the nervous system and blood circulation, which are vital for organs to work effectively and helping to balance and relax the body. Blood will be conveying nutrients around the body and removes toxins. When the body is balanced, it has its own natural healing ability. Most of the uneasiness is directly or indirectly linked with nervous tension (stress).

Reflexology is meant for relaxing the body and simplifies this tension by helping the systems to work more effectively. The person may have physical or emotional reactions during or after the treatment and the same will be disappeared with in a short period. The reflexology treatment will encourage the body to flush out the accumulated toxins, so it is advisable to drink plenty of fresh water after a Reflexology treatment. The reactions like feeling sleepy, feeling energized and alert, frequent visit to toilet, a slight runny nose, increased perspiration or shivering are the positive sign of the reflexology treatment, which is working to balance your body. The body can achieve the relaxation to its skeletal system, Muscular system, Nervous system, cardiovascular system, Lymphatic system, Sense organs, Respiratory system, Digestive system, Urinary system, Endocrine glands and Reproductive system.
