Anal warts treatment tips
The treatment
of anal warts is numerous. But the selection of treatment depends
on the person who is infested with this condition. The selection
of treatment also depends on the size of the wart. Before discussing
about the treatment, let us know about the availability of vaccine
for this dreadful disease. Merck Research laboratory is funding
for developing vaccine against HPV infection and also conducted
pilot study among 552 young women of United States who were not
pregnant and also shown negative Pap smears. The result showed that
the vaccine was 89 percent effective in preventing the infection
with the four HPV types (6, 11, 16&18) and 100 percent effective
in preventing the diseases associated with these types. Some type
of HPV causes cancers in the genital and anal area in both males
& females.
Anal warts can
be treated but cannot be cured by applying medicaments only. Some
of the treatments can be performed in the home itself by using the
kitchen items and natural things. Cotton ball soaked in Apple Cider
Vinegar can be applied on the anal wart and should be bandaged overnight.
Then the bandage should be removed along with the cotton ball in
the next day morning. This should be carried out for one week for
effective results. Another home remedy for anal wart is using a
clove of garlic from a bulb. Clove garlic should be halved and be
applied over the wart in the night only until the wart disappears.
This is found to be simple and quick remedy for warts of all kinds.
Thuja (extract from Redwood tree), found at natural herbal stores
can also be used for controlling anal warts. This Thuja is available
both as pills and Ointment. Hence this can be applied topically
on the warts and the pills may be taken orally for getting good
results.
